ROLE PURPOSE
Our Clients are looking for a tutor to join their Wolverhampton Team. By providing exciting learning opportunities through the delivery of accredited Employability qualifications, Vocational Skills, and Essential Digital Skills, they could be part of making a big difference.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments to inform high quality, innovative delivery that challenges and inspires learners, including clear objectives, and involving learners in the planning, review, and evaluation process.
2. Deliver effective and high-quality provision across a range of ability groups (Entry 1 - Level 2) to meet all relevant academic and funding criteria and enable learners to meet their personal learning goals.
3. Continuously monitor course effectiveness and assess learner development through individual learning plans to inform teaching strategies that ensure learner and programme success.
4. Deliver general advice and guidance with reference to progression and pre-programme information, including specification of programme entry criteria.
5. Produce and/or tailor relevant and motivational teaching materials, undertaking necessary research to deliver programmes that fulfill the needs of the learners.
6. Ensure all administrative procedures are kept up to date prior to, during, and after the programme (i.e., keeping a register, marking work, monitoring absence, completing funding documentation) to ensure compliance and quality procedures and funding requirements are met.
7. Attend and contribute to team meetings, standardisation meetings, and IQA activity as required.
8. Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
9. Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development.
10. Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
1. Teaching qualification (CTLLS, PTLLS, AET, PGCE).
2. Previous experience of delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities and training workshops within the employment and skills sector.
