Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing projects and leading teams. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Project Leadership: Leading and managing projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
2. Surveying Expertise: Conducting measured surveys of existing buildings or sites, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
3. Inspection Excellence: Carrying out site inspections and providing detailed inspection reports.
4. Design & Build Proficiency: Preparing Employer's Requirements for Design and Build purposes.
5. Tendering Process: Managing tender invitations, conducting tender analysis, and preparing detailed reports.
6. Full Project Lifecycle: Overseeing projects from start to finish, including specifications, schedules of work, and other essential documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
1. RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree
2. Chartered status or actively working towards APC
3. Proven experience in successfully managing interdisciplinary projects and leading project teams
4. Background in housing, residential, and/or existing buildings
5. Expertise in core building surveying and project management
6. A successful track record in managing programs of work, highlighting your organisational ability
7. Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing excellent client care
