We are recruiting for a Shift Leader for Timothy who lives in his own home in Peacehaven, Brighton. He needs you to help him live the life he chooses!

Salary – £29,250.00 (£15.00 per hour)
37.5 hours per week
Shift pattern of 0800-2000

About Timothy
Timothy is 46 and lives in his own home in Peacehaven. Timothy has a great sense of humour and needs staff that can get to know him and build positive relationships.
Timothy has a diagnosis of autism, mild learning disability and epilepsy. It is important to Timothy to have a team around him who understand autism and how this can affect him.
Timothy loves going cycling, walking and learning new skills. Timothy also has a car and enjoys going out in this.
Timothy wants to enjoy good times and has settled into his new home well. Timothy is making good progress at adjusting to community life at his pace and is making his own choices.
Timothy is funny, has a great memory and is a good mimic, loves sport and TV programmes. Timothy likes nice homecooked food and meeting new people. Timothy enjoys going out for drives in his car, music with his precious radio, looking nice and being treated with kindness and care. Timothy is devoted to his family and is enjoying spending quality time with them.

About the role
As well as providing direct support to Timothy, we are looking for our shift leaders to;
Lead the team that is supporting Timothy
Manage the finances within the service. This includes Seco Support finances as well as Timothys’
Ensure Timothy’s service is Health & Safety compliant
Support Timothy and his team with food hygiene processes
Support Timothy’ team to follow his PBS and Support Plan
Be present when Timothy’ family visit and provide information as requested
Update inventories as and when required
Ensure all documentation has been completed in line with Seco Supports policies
Provide some on call duties
Full training will be provided through Seco Supports induction programme and online learning.
Full referencing and a full enhanced check of the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) will be required for this position.
