Our client is looking tro recruit an Inventory Officer, who will be primarily responsible for managing the plant's inventory. The Inventory will be in charge of preparing and issuing materials to the production floor and receiving and scaling final products. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Prepare and allocation of raw materials to the production team daily. Receive and properly store and stack final products after the days production. Maintain physical records and also upload records on the ERP of quantity of material issued to the production team and quantity received at the end of the day’s production/activity. Receive and properly store and stack all incoming inventory of raw materials delivered. Keep and update records of production consumables purchased and issued during course of production Maintain reasonable reorder levels of all production consumables. Operate forklift to move and arrange and rearrange materials properly Loading and unloading of materials delivered or scheduled for delivery to customers Involved in general housekeeping ensuring the warehouse and yard is well organised TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Solid computer skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel Proficiency in Inventory Management Software or ERP (SAP, Sage, Microsoft AX Dynamics etc) Experience driving a forklift and must possess a license REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail Result-driven Writing and reporting Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent organisational and Planning skills. Knowledge of inventory control systems, stock tracking, and warehouse management processes. Familiarity with methods such as FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out). Lifting and Manual handling required Effective presentation and communication skills Demonstrated project management skills Ability to efficiently manage inventory audits, stock replenishment, and other tasks within deadlines.
