I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering firm known for its precision manufacturing. This company specializes in producing high-quality UPVC and aluminium window tooling, bespoke OEM machinery, and subcontract components.

The Role:
As a CNC Milling Programmer, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role that involves on-line and off-line programming using OneCNC or Alphacam, working closely with design engineers to develop machining strategies.
You’ll be working with modern CNC machines in a dynamic and highly skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and optimize CNC milling machines (up to 5-axis) using OneCNC or Alphacam software.
Work closely with design engineers to interpret technical drawings, models, and customer specifications.
Set up and operate CNC machines, selecting the correct tooling and ensuring efficient production runs.
Troubleshoot and refine machining processes to improve cycle times and maintain high-quality standards.
Conduct first-off inspections to ensure precision and accuracy.
Provide feedback on designs and machining strategies to improve efficiency.
Maintain and update CNC programs for future production runs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team.
Adhere to ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 quality and safety standards. What We’re Looking For:
CNC Programming Expertise: Skilled in OneCNC or Alphacam, with experience programming up to 5-axis machining.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
Manufacturing Experience: 5+ years of CNC programming in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Siemens CNC Control (XYZ) Experience is desirable.
Ability to Read Engineering Drawings: Confident in interpreting complex specifications and models.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive approach to troubleshooting and improving machining processes.
