Job overview
Medical Recruitment are searching for a new team member to join our recruitment service at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Recruitment Team, with specific responsibilities for medical and dental staff recruitment ensuring the provision of a high quality recruitment and appointment service for the Trust.
Main duties of the job
You will have the ability to prioritise work whilst working in a fast-paced and busy environment, as well as having a flexible approach to work. A good level of attention to detail is an essential requirement for this demanding role, as well as working effectively as part of a team.
You will need a good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, be computer literate and confident in the use of Microsoft Office software. You will need demonstrable experience in an administrative role with data inputting, and Medical recruitment knowledge is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will be a team player but have the ability to work independently, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with an ability to prioritise your own workload and manage time effectively in a busy office.

Person specification
Education, Training
* Minimum GCSE English Language & Maths or equivalent
* Working knowledge of a wide range of secretarial procedures including use of email, internet, filing systems and Microsoft Office packages
* Basic Knowledge of NHS Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions
Experience
* Experience in a secretarial/administrative setting
* Committee support experience i.e. minute taking and preparation of agenda’s/papers etc (or willingness to undertake training)
* Previous experience in delivering recruitment or HR services in an office environment.
* Experience of using applicant tracking systems e.g. TRAC system
Skills
* Accurate data inputting skills for entering data onto spreadsheets/databases to maintain up to date records.
