Procurement Manager | Indirect Generalist | Aviation Brand

Overview:
Talent Drive are pleased to be supporting a well known Aviation brand based in Hampshire who are going through an exciting period of transformation, they are looking to welcome an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager
This role is responsible for driving value through being a trusted commercial advisor who supports and challenges stakeholders' requirements. They will provide procurement support and guidance ensuring adherence to procurement governance and procedures.
Requirements:
* Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies, aligning Quality Business Reviews with strategic business expectations.
* Collaborate, build, and maintain strong relationship with key business stakeholders, departments such as Legal and suppliers.
* Identify cost optimisation, leveraging market insights, supplier consolidation and innovative sourcing strategies.
* Lead the commercial and contractual interactions with external suppliers where appropriate.
* Own the end-to-end procurement cycle, maximising value throughout each phase from Scope Definition, Supplier Selection, Tendering to Contract Award, Contract Mobilisation and Contract Management.
* Ensure a consistent approach towards Procurement Policies and Procedures. Maintaining data accuracies within ERP systems and contract management tools and SAP supplier database.
Skills and Experience required:
* In depth experience as a focused Indirect procurement specialist within a large company, in a highly regulated environment.
* Experience of drafting and negotiating contracts to meet strategic business objectives and achieve operational excellence.
* Good understanding of strategic procurement with ability to work with and develop category strategies.
* Proven track record for leading complex RFI/P, procurement activities whilst delivering value.
* Ability to drive change in a decentralised organisation.
* Strategic thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
