Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
The Insight Manager position is part of the UK Customer Strategy and Insight team, which focuses on creating valuable customer insights for stakeholders primarily in CMB (Commercial Banking) but also in WPB (Wealth & Personal Banking). The individual in this role will concentrate on using insights, data, and market intelligence gathered by the team to assist business leaders in identifying opportunities. This support will help stakeholders understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs.
The role involves gathering insights from various research sources, interpreting findings in a persuasive manner, and presenting narratives that motivate stakeholders to take action. The Insight Manager will monitor intelligence sources for emerging trends and needs, collaborating with stakeholders to address business challenges or enhance customer advocacy and revenue. This may also involve leading brainstorming workshops.

In this role you will:
* Identify the business needs and create suitable research and data collection strategies while considering business priorities, deadlines, and budget limitations.
* Collaborate with various senior management stakeholders to negotiate feasible solutions and implement recommendations.
* Use your project management skills to ensure that research is completed on time and within budget. revenue growth.
* Generate clear reports that include practical recommendations and effectively communicate essential messages.
* Adhere to the Functional Instructional Manual (FIM), along with all relevant laws and industry standards.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data effectively. Experience in using data and research for scenario modelling or foresight creation is essential.
* Strong stakeholder management abilities are crucial, with a focus on influencing and negotiating effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, allowing for impactful delivery of complex information to diverse audiences. The ability to create clear reports with actionable recommendations is vital, as you will need to convey key messages effectively.
* Demonstrated success in project management is required, employing relevant tools and techniques to ensure timely and consistent results. You will use your project management expertise to ensure research is completed on time and within budget.
* A background Market Research is an essential requirement. This could include Business to Business or Business to Consumer research.
This role can be based in either Birmingham, Chester, Sheffield or Leeds.
