What's exciting about the role
We are excited to be hiring a Marketing manager to lead and execute Verifone’s marketing strategy in UKI. As our new Marketing Manager you will be a key figure in supporting our marketing efforts in UKI and will coordinate, execute, and measure all day-to-day as well as long-term strategies by leveraging and establishing marketing systems, dashboards, and tools.
This role is accountable for Verifone’s brand in the region but also hitting country’s sales targets, as well as focus on lead quality, conversion, data enrichment, marketing process automation and tools, program and channel performance reporting, to ultimately optimize marketing performance and ROI.
This role will also be responsible for both customer acquisition and awareness, as well as retention and growth of the installed base. Hands-on experience with marketing automation systems and lead nurturing campaigns is required, such as using/coordinating a mix of PR, ABM, email, digital marketing, content marketing, demand generation, partner marketing and event-based campaigns to generate new sales leads.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Design, manage and implement the marketing strategy & programs for Verifone UKI to continue expanding our foothold in the UK market by increasing our brand awareness and delivering on pipeline and revenue targets aligned to our business goals
2. Driving impactful go-to-market launch strategies by owning development of audience strategy, value proposition, messaging and positioning
3. Monitor performance of campaigns, adjusting activity over time based on this performance to maximise pipeline generation
4. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to create successful for campaigns, sales enablement, PR, branding and social media
5. Design and manage email nurture flows and/or drip programs for both prospects and existing customers to support sales growth and retention, and implement the tracking of these flows
6. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding the strategy
7. Work closely with multiple teams for developing an effective strategy and new programs
8. Obsess about results: analyze site traffic and website flows, conversion optimization campaign results, analyze and report program performance; report metrics appropriately and flag issues for internal stakeholders, provide recommendations for improvement
Education, Knowledge, and Experience we desire
9. Experience in B2B technology marketing or Product marketing background an advantage
10. Degree in marketing, business, or related field
11. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns and working with multiple marketing channels
12. Advanced knowledge of key platforms: Pardot/Marketo/other marketing automation tools, CRMs (Salesforce, Pipedrive, others), Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, Email marketing tools, etc.
13. Demonstrated ability to analyse and distil data into actionable insights and to inform campaign strategy
14. Extensive analytical skills to deal with advanced lead lifecycle and track the entire lead funnel
15. Project management skills to lead and coordinate projects across multiple departments
16. A strong track record in partner marketing and understanding of channels - digital, PR and offline activations
17. Familiarity with trends, industry topics, and latest trends in marketing
18. SEM specific copywriting skills
19. HTML knowledge
20. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets and macros
