About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs. Your role will involve providing tailored support, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver individualized support
Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
Provide one-on-one support to pupils with specific needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement
Help with classroom management and engage students in educational activities
Monitor and report pupil progress to teachers and parents/carers
About You:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential)
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable)
