Our client is a leading manufacturing plant with production sites worldwide and is offering a chance for a trainee to become a fully trained production operative with their guidance. This opportunity will include a comprehensive training and development to allow you to retain the necessary skills and expertise to take the business forward.
Your job responsibilities will include:
1. Participate in thorough training and development initiatives to ensure acquisition and retention of essential skills and knowledge necessary for advancing the business.
2. Adhere to prescribed safety protocols, including utilising provided control measures for health and safety purposes such as safe work practices and personal protective gear.
3. Promptly report all accidents, incidents, and potential hazards, and cooperate in investigations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental concerns.
4. Demonstrate responsibility for personal and collective health and safety within the work environment.
5. Continuously enhance and adapt skills to accommodate evolving technologies, methodologies, and flexible work arrangements, while also supporting the development and training of team members.
6. Identify and report any significant hazards or deficiencies that pose risks to individuals, the environment, or company assets.
7. Maintain awareness of responsibilities outlined in company management systems and accreditation standards, remaining updated through training sessions and company communication channels.
8. Fulfil any reasonable tasks as assigned.

Whilst the role would be initially on days during the extensive training period, as a continuous process the successful applicant would need to be prepared to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotating basis.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grades A-C including English and Maths which certificates must be prevented at interview stage.
