We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly skilled leader of PE, capable of planning and delivering a high-quality curriculum at both KS3 and KS4, in line with the subject and faculty intent.

The successful candidate will:
* Support the faculty leader with the overall vision and implementation of the faculty intent
* Monitor and track student progress across KS3 and KS4
* Ensure all schemes of learning are in place and reviewed in line with the faculty and school expectations
* Lead and support members of the department in line with performance management criteria
* Ensure all resources are ordered and administration complete to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
* Organise and administer the moderation of KS4, in line with the expectations from the exam board
* Coordinate the PE contribution towards extra-curricular provision

The Fernwood School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 academy, situated in Wollaton in Nottingham.
