The job:
Personal Assistants support people to live well. Can you provide support to help others to live their best lives. Do you want a job that is rewarding and fulfilling?
We are looking for a PA to work with a 20-year-old young woman with moderate learning disabilities. You will be involved in supporting this young woman out and about in the community. You will be able to work flexible hours providing 8 hours weekly on weekdays, evenings or weekends.
The right person:
Are you young at heart and enjoy trips into town, dancing and listening to music. Do you enjoy walks, swimming, bike rides and going to the gym? You must be able to go on occasional day trips as well. It is not essential for you to have experience but you must have common sense as well as being a good listener and communicator.
You will be required to work one to one supporting shared activities with this young woman, which includes attending music gigs.
A driver with use of their own car is preferable but not essential.
The hours:
You will be required to work 8 hours per week. These will be worked flexibly. You may work more than 8 hours one week and less the next, depending on planned activities.
The rates of pay and benefits:
£11.44 per hour.
You will receive paid holidays and training relevant to your role.
