The Rehabilitation ward at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Dingwall is looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic Senior Staff Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis.
Must have experience as a band 5 for at least 6 years. Previous experience as a band 6 is desired but not necessary.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is compassionate and considerate to others, and is keen to learn and develop skills and knowledge to aid professional development. You must be able to work to and deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients with rehabilitation and palliative care needs. Some knowledge of Rheumatoid arthritis and experience with infusions is required.
The candidate must be able to support the senior charge nurse with off duty, return to work, sickness, and audits, and manage the ward and the infusion suite/outpatient services in the absence of the SCN.
The post would cover the ward and outpatient services.
You MUST have a full UK NMC registration.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
