THE ROLE
As a Transport Coordinator for one of our prestigious Government clients, you will regularly check vehicle equipment, oil and fluid levels and monitor tyres and wheels for damage and wear. You will also wash vehicles, and clean and vacuum interiors. Maintaining petrol usage records and vehicle log books will also be part of your duties.
You will get to maintain a service schedule ensuring that vehicles are safely inspected and serviced in accordance with guidelines. You will also transport vehicles to and from the clients workshops and external garages for repairs and servicing. You will carry out weekly inspections of fleet vehicles and take appropriate diagnostic and corrective actions, and also provide detail to District/Department as directed of vehicles available for operational use. You can look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As our ideal candidate, you should possess a Full Valid UK Driving License (including categories C & D) and have access to a car suitably insured for business use. Your aptitude for attention to detail through maintaining accurate records, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service will shine through in this role.
You will need to provide us with your 5 year employment history and have unrestricted right to work in the UK for screening purposes. A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
