Nursery: Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool
Pay: £12.94/hour+ (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are looking for a part time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Teddies Nursery as a 1-2-1 SEN support and Deputy SENCO.

What you’ll be doing
* Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
* Make accurate and effective assessments which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of the child by effective delivery of the key person approach. Collate this information to contribute to Support plan reviews and or EHCP’s.
* Ensure effective communication with the setting SENDCO and support collaboration between the setting, professionals and parents.
* Ensuring an enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area as a continuous provision.
* Ensure children have the appropriate equipment and resources to support the children’s SEND needs.
* Promote inclusion and relationships with children with or without SEND.
What we’re looking for
* Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
* SEND training in one of the 4 broad areas of SEND.
* Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar).
* Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
* Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
* Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
