The role
As an Area Sales Manager your primary responsibility is to manage the relationship between the manufacturer and the sales partner network. This responsibility should focus on growth of the brand in your defined geographical area and bring the highest levels of service to our sales partner network.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Manage the relationship between The Norton Motorcycle Company and its sales partners.
* Maintain sales partner operating standards in line with contractual requirements.
* Reporting of sales partner sales activities in line with contractual standards.
* Responsibility for the sales of motorcycles within a defined geographical area.
* Responsible for the sale of genuine parts, garments and accessories within a defined geographical area.
* Reporting of KPI’s to Norton Motorcycle Management.
* Preparation of KPI reporting and supporting documents.
* Identify and exploit new sales partner opportunities.
Personal Specification
* Outstanding communicator
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented and a desire to succeed.
* Demonstrate an ability to multi-task
* A strong analytical understanding to identify sales trends
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong time management skills
* Demonstrate capability to develop strong working relationships
* Flexible approach to work
* Motorcycle industry experience
* A minimum of 3 years account management experience
* Full UK Motorcycle license
