*This position can be filled as a Fossil Maintenance Planner I, II, or Sr depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate*
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for developing assigned work requests from 'Planning Required' to 'Ready to Schedule' status in AIMM. This process includes assessing the corrective action needed including job requirements for safety, environmental, unit status, parts, scaffolding and special support needs. This person will also develop contractor scopes of work, including generating contract requisitions, assist buyer in soliciting bids to support contractor maintenance planning and execution. This person may also be assigned 'Contract Manager' to oversee contract work when needed. He or she will be required to interface with stores in materials planning. Interfaces with Process Owners to develop maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance tasks that improve reliability and/or reduce cost.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assures the availability of maintenance parts. Utilizes necessary resources to properly estimate time required to complete tasks to be planned.
2. Optimizes the use of staging and kitting to maximize worker efficiency and productivity. Orders all needed materials for Work Requests and/or plant support needs.
3. Participates in weekly schedule development meetings. Continually monitors and manages the backlog of work orders with proper estimates of tasks. Updates equipment and assessment documents on completion of the work.
4. Closing out contracts and resolving invoice issues as needed. Participating in the accrual process as required. Participating in the budget development process. Manage/maintain plant vehicles.
5. Manage and control inventory including SOX policies. Manage and control credit card use and reconciliation while following policies governing credit card use. Participate in outage planning and implementation.
6. Conduct contractor safety orientations and oversee contractor activities. Provide contract administration when assigned. Be fully engaged in Plant Safety Committee.

- Fossil Maintenance Planner I: 0+ years of experience
- Fossil Maintenance Planner II: 2+ years of experience
- Fossil Maintenance Planner, Sr: 10+ years of experience
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
- Practical working knowledge of maintenance techniques of plant systems and components
- Excellent Maximo and AIMM skills
- Experience in inventory control and management
- Knowledge of CBO and RMP core processes
- Good knowledge of Internet for researching parts, vendors, and suppliers
- Experience in coordinating and managing multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent oral and written skills
