Job overview
We are looking for someone to work full-time. The posts involve working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a high-quality service on a primary care basis. Elements of secondary care help to make this the perfect blend for a stimulating and rewarding environment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who works closely with patients, the prison pharmacists, the wider health care multidisciplinary team, and prison service to ensure a comprehensive medicines management service is provided to prisoners. You will be able to apply your experience to practice. Secure environment experience is especially desirable, but not essential. You will have good communication skills and will contribute to developing the services within the prison to meet the needs of the diverse population served.

Person specification
Education
* Registered pharmacy technician
* BTEC Level 3 Professional Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent
* Evidence of post-qualification training e.g. Certificate in Management
Experience
* Demonstrable experience as a pharmacy technician
* Experience of working in a Prison as a pharmacy technician.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
