2 hours per week: 1 hour on Sat and 1 hour on Sunday morning, plus extra hours available for holiday cover.
Hourly pay rate:
£15 per hour
I am a happy, grumpy old man with a good sense of humour looking for a female personal assistant to help me withgetting ready for the day ahead, supporting with mainly personal care and some domestic tasks.
I have severe Osteoarthritis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) and as a result, suffer from constant pain. I have good days, where there will be lots of talking and laughter and the occasional bad day, where I need someone empathetic to carry on quietly.
If you are a cheerful person with a positive outlook on life, this could be the role for you.
Duties include:
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
