The ophthalmology unit provides Outpatient, Theatre and Inpatient services but you will primarily be providing care in the Outpatient Department at Nevill Hall Hospital and its satellite clinics on other ABUHB sites. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential. In order to develop the necessary specialist skills required of this post the successful applicant will complete the competency based framework and have access to the ophthalmology educational programme.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be reliable, hardworking and work well within a team. The applicant must be a registered nurse. The ideal candidate must be expected to demonstrate commitment to their own personal development and show keen interest in the future development of the profession and ophthalmology services.
