Vacancy: Technical Maintenance Planner

As the Technical Maintenance Planner, you will manage all planned maintenance activity for PGMS. Plan and prepare for the successful completion of future maintenance work producing requirements to facilitate short-term and medium-term planning.
This includes communicating and liaising with production planning to ensure works are coordinated in conjunction with operational requirements. Plan and organise non-routine maintenance activities including periodic shutdowns. Schedule and organise resources (internal and external) including spares co-ordination.
This role will report into the Lead Maintenance Planner.

Your Responsibilities:
* Proactively promote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure adherence to JM policies (including HR/EHS/Security).
* Administer the Maintenance Planning Process as defined in the JM Maintenance Planning Procedure.
* Develop and issue the short (daily, weekly) maintenance plan for the PGMS.
* Management of scheduling activities for assets, e.g. resource requirements and availability, vendor readiness, materials availability etc., ensuring spare parts availability through spares co-ordination with stores.
* The detailed integrated planning and scheduling of simultaneous operations to avoid escalation of business risk.
* Working with operations and reliability engineers, continuously review plant performance, adapting maintenance plans where necessary in order that overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) targets are met.
* Working with the Lead Maintenance Planner and wider maintenance team, seek opportunities to improve resource efficiencies.
Requirements for the Role:
* Experience of planning, scheduling, and co-ordination skills in a maintenance and project role.
* Ability to triage issues and prioritise based on results.
* Ability to communicate effectively and allow people to see all opportunities available to them, ability to listen/simplify requests from operations.
* Good knowledge of Asset Management Systems (CMMS).
