We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic radiographer, holding either a BSc (Radiography), DCR or equivalent, to join our progressive breast imaging team at the North & Mid Hants Breast Screening Service.
North & Mid Hampshire Breast Screening Service serves the population of 95 thousand eligible women who live across Hampshire. There are static units at Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH) and Basingstoke Hospital where our symptomatic one stop clinics take place. RHCH is the location of all our assessment clinics. The initial mammographic screen is provided by 3, high spec digital mobile vans which are situated in various locations in the Hampshire community.
The RHCH is conveniently situated near the M3, with good local and regional rail links, a short train journey to London! Winchester is one of England’s most picturesque and historically significant cities in Southern England, it sits on the gateway to the New Forest, with equally easy access to the Solent.
The successful applicant must hold a full drivers licence and have access to a car.
Previous mammography experience is preferable, but not essential as training can be provided. HHFT supports staff training and career progression, we embrace skill mix.

The successful candidate will be performing mammography on one of the 3 mobile vans, situated in the community of North and Mid Hampshire, and at Basingstoke Hospital.
Also to provide mammographic assistance in one - stop and assessment clinics at Winchester hospital.

You will be required to work on mobile vans, with approximately 50 patients a day, at six minute intervals.
You would need to supervise trainees and Assistant Practitioners.
You would need to work with Advanced Practitioners and Radiologists to provide further assessment, and specialist procedures in clinics.
You would need to use and have a basic understanding of computer programmes, eg PACS CRIS and NBSS.
You would need a car and full UK driving licence, to be able to travel to mobile vans around Hampshire.
