Salary range: Band 9 (£42,708 to £45,718)

About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. As the IT Finance and Contracts Manager, you will have excellent business management skills and experience, be a great communicator and negotiator taking a lead on our procurement procedures.
You will also support the contract negotiation process and ongoing supplier management to ensure contracts are fulfilled and that our contract register is maintained. A key requirement for the role will be to successfully manage the business function of the service, ensuring we have efficient administration processes which includes monitoring our revenue and capital budgets and working with finance colleagues to report on the Service’s financial position. You will also ensure that the correct recharges are made to internal/external services to ensure income is collected in a timely manner and be responsible for a small team who will oversee these tasks. The role will also be required to support monitoring and realizing financial benefits.
About you
You will be a strong business manager, who is able to demonstrate experience in managing budgets of significant amounts, supplier contracts, and staff. You will be experienced in developing your team and hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will implement, manage and deliver the Supplier/Contract Management and Financial Management function, in line with ITIL standards and processes (ITIL training will be provided). You will ensure that effective processes are in operation across the function that ensure we are managing associated timelines accordingly.
