Job Title: Technical Services Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical)

Job Role
Managing a team of 3 Engineers (mix of electrical and mechanical) at two commercial sites in Cardiff. You will manage all PPMS and reactive works. Our client need someone experienced in Lifecycle projects and Hard services. It will cover a range of systems and equipment including, HVAC, water, fire, medical gasses etc. Ideally the candidate will have health care experience.
Detailed Job Description
* To effectively manage a team of engineers carrying out all aspects of maintenance works
* Provide timely support to maintain the highest standard of statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
* Carry out sub contractor audiots and awareness
* Act as the focal point and responsible for site H&S management ensuring all RAMS are received and followed correctly
* Ensure all technical appointments are in date for all disciplines
* Proactiveky manage preventative maintenance and corrective works
* Ensure all KPIs are acchieved and monitored
* Participate in the 24/7 maintenance cover (including on call rota) of the Building Engineering Services during normal and emergency activities
Qualifications or Required Experience
* Multi-skilled engineer with a qualified discipline with at least 5 years' experience
* Team working experience
* Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
* Experience of using a CAFM system
* Good knowledge of building services and HTM legislation
Ideally we are looking for someone who has managed at supervisor level prior however our client is open to reviewing CVs of those at a senior engineering position looking to progress. Ideally the supervisor will be mechanically biased.
