This role is subject to:
* 2 References - where possible we require 3 years' employment history.
* Proof of your Early Years Qualifications.
* Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

The Early Years Quality Assurance Team are dedicated to providers delivering high-quality early years services with a strong focus on partnership and continuous improvement. We take pride in our city and strive to make a positive impact on our children and families by providing quality assurance visits, forums and training opportunities for our early years workforce.
We would love to hear from you if you are a passionate and skilled Early Years Childcare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of early years childcare provision and the associated statutory requirements.
They will be committed to delivering exceptional service and improving quality whilst demonstrating pride in Manchester.
A good level of ICT skills would also be an advantage due to our data role in maintaining the childcare section of Help and Support Manchester. We also use databases and lead virtual forums and deliver PowerPoint presentations in meetings.
There is also an expectation that you can work flexibly as you would occasionally be expected to work evenings and weekends.
