Pay Rate: £170 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 4 weeks
Reason for Hire: Covering for employee on sick leave
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Assistant to join the team for a 4-week contract. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility of 3 days working remotely and 2 days onsite at the Corsham location. The successful candidate will hit the ground running, providing essential support during a period of sick leave.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with general accounting tasks, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
* Support the finance team in processing, recharges and reconciling accounts, including assisting with any ad-hoc queries or reports.
* Perform basic financial analysis and assist with month-end activities.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Requirements:
* Strong working knowledge of Excel (including basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
* Proven experience in contract roles, with the ability to quickly adapt and start contributing effectively from day one.
* Previous experience in an accounts assistant or account support role.
* Experience with Oracle is desirable but not essential.
