Dispatch Production Assistant - Late shift

Location: Gateshead
Salary: £23,000 per year + 20% shift allowance for full shift
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours a week (Mon-Fri - 15:00-22:30)

* Adhere to set production procedures in your team. This can include dispatch, braille, secure pin room, audio duplication area and print services.
* Required to operate specialist production machinery and performing basic machine maintenance.
* Collating standard print with accessible format documents, whilst consistently monitoring quality.
* Carrying out final proofing and quality checks in accordance with agreed standards.
* Able to work in a high paced, fast turnaround and challenging environment with speed, care and accuracy whilst maintaining agreed quality standards.
* Prioritise workload in line with client SLA requirements.
* Ensure health and safety standards, including the use of PPE are met to ensure a safe working environment is maintained.
Skills and experience required:
* Knowledge of the Microsoft package
* Experience in Pack and Dispatch
* Experience of working to Service Level Agreements
* Experience of helping to implement process improvements
* Ability to work within a dynamic work area
* Ability to organise time effectively, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
