Description The Service & Team: The Cornwall Fire Rescue and Community Safety Service Estate consist of 31 Fire Stations and one Service Headquarters. These are divided between 4 Caretaker/Maintenance person roles, which will also support each other in the delivery of the whole service, maintenance and cleaning programme. The Role: The CFRCS Caretaker/Maintenance Person is required to maintain the new buildings Service Headquarters at Tolvaddon (SHQ), Tolvaddon and Hayle fire stations and a number of Fire Stations in the PFI estate, internal and external to a high standard. To work under the guidance of the premise co-ordinator to manage specialist contractors to deliver services to these sites. The post holder would be expected to carry out minor repairs and decoration to the fabric of the buildings as well as internal fixtures and fittings. Maintain these buildings and its associated grounds to a high standard of health, safety, welfare, hygiene, décor, cleanliness and general tidiness.
