This role will still be hands on, in terms of translating business requirements into technical designs & deliverables for the engineering teams, but will also have the responsibility for leading a small team and growing it as necessary with additional architects – supported by the Head of Architecture and Design. The company boast a very flexible approach to work with a 36-hour work-week managed by the employees, rather than set hours or even core hours. This is brilliant for those with responsibilities outside of work such as childcare or school runs. They also offer remote working, meeting up in the offices once a week with the rest of the team – though there is also a degree of flexibility around this too.
