We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic qualified (Level 2 or Level 3) Early Years Practitioner to become part of our wonderful team at Little Foxes. Responsibilities include:
* Plan, organise and teach a wide range of safe and stimulating activities and facilitate child-initiated learning through play, in order that every child thrives.
* Celebrate uniqueness and individuality to ensure that every child's needs are recognised and met.
* Make regular observations and keep suitable records.
* Build positive relationships with parents/carers and communicate and liaise with them effectively.
* Support meal times within the setting.
* Work across both our Rising 3s (Wrens) and Preschool (Sparrows) classrooms.
You will love working with children and be passionate about children's learning and development. You will have excellent communication skills, enjoy getting messy, and embrace all aspects of learning indoors and outdoors, whatever the weather.
You will have knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage for preschool provision. You will be committed to our values - Soar, Share, Strive and Sparkle - and will model these in all that you do. You will be able to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs as required. You will be committed to our relational and restorative work across the preschool. It is desirable to have a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Education or Childcare qualification or equivalent.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
