The Professions Development Underwriter role:
1. Broker Relationship Management & Development:
1. Cultivate and maintain strong broker relationships
2. Address queries and develop business at both case-by-case and account levels
2. Underwriting & Portfolio Management:
1. Underwrite accounts with a focus on profitability and efficiency in PI and financial lines
2. Regularly review and refine underwriting guides
3. Conduct workshops to enhance broker and internal team understanding
3. Growth & Governance:
1. Take responsibility for profitably growing the book
2. Ensure robust compliance and governance practices
3. Leverage a modern, data-driven approach in decision making

1. Salary range: £50,000-£85,000
