Procurement Manager to manage and maintain a results focused Procurement function with effective purchasing, cost management and supplier management. Communicating and collaborating, assisting with effective decision making and contract negotiation ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
* Negotiate supplier rates to ensure the rates meet budgeted requirements through continuous assessment of suppliers and meeting with key suppliers regularly.
* Maintaining good supplier relationships and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
* Create, track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
* Ownership of the internal supplier review process.
* Ownership of critical supplier appraisal process.
* Preparing budgets, cost analysis, and reports
* Requirements:
* Previous experience in Procurement/Supply Chain
* Exceptional communication skills suppliers and internal customers
* Persistence, attention to detail and organisation to achieve results
* Relevant Procurement Qualifications/Certifications
* Knowledge of Fleet Management (desirable)
* Knowledge of Shipping Regulations (desirable)
