* Zion Care Ltd is a friendly family-run care business with 14 care homes that span across the United Kingdom.
* We are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to support two care homes in the Blackpool area as well as the Senior Financial Accountant for the group.
What we can offer
* Permanent full-time or part-time - over 5 days (6 hours per day) or over 4 days (8 hours per day).

About the role
* The role involves maintaining and processing the day-to-day accounts for two homes, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, payroll journals, and credit control activities.
* Checking data using our internal care management system and raising a variety of invoices for care and other services.
* Processing supplier payments, allocating creditor payments, and reconciling accounts using SAGE accounts and our internal care management system.
* Managing and responding to telephone/email enquiries from care homes, debtors, creditors, and council payment teams.
* Issuing contracts for new private residents.
* Support with processing payroll for the home.
* Other general administrative tasks when required.
About you
* SAGE 50 experience is desirable for this role, but full training will be given.
* Accounting qualification preferable.
* IT literate, with experience using a variety of programmes including Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, composing letters and emails for internal and external correspondence.
* Flexible, co-operative attitude to work and change.
* Maintaining confidentiality.
* Strong time management, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills.
* Driver - ability to travel between care homes to collect required financial documentation.
