A leading food manufacturing business based in Chester with hybrid working options is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team. As Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing inbound supply of materials from a global supply base, ensuring production receives an uninterrupted supply of materials and ensuring inventory is kept at optimum levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for some site-based production planning.
About the role:
* Generate and distribute weekly/monthly forecast reports internally and externally.
* Run the internal S&OP cycle for materials planning.
* Monitor supplier performance vs service level agreements.
* Engage with a diverse supply base and manage inbound supply of materials to support production schedules.
* Ensure inventory is kept within agreed parameters.
About the person:
* Previous experience working within a planning role, ideally from within supply, production, or materials.
* SAP experience would be advantageous.
* Experience working within FMCG/food.
