As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced skilled teaching and support professionals and contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of students with SEND needs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting SEN students in their daily activities, including academic tasks and social integration. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students. Supporting students with their emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. Facilitating communication and interaction between students, teachers, and parents/guardians. Monitoring and recording students' progress and providing feedback to teachers and senior staff. Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and materials. Requirements To be considered for the role of Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant you will: A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. The willingness to learn and develop new skills within an SEN environment. A supportive and nurturing approach towards student development.
