As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Site Manager to join Freeman Homes who can bring our vision to life on the ground — someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional homes, leads with confidence, and helps us tell our story through the quality of our work.
MAIN CHALLENGES
Day to day management of Health & Safety to ensure compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and the individual Contractor’s RAMS. Ensure that all sub-contractors work in a professional, cooperative and efficient manner. Ensure that the site is presented at all times in a way that is safe, tidy and appealing to prospective purchasers. Ensure the highest levels of quality are obtained whilst maintaining production levels to programme.
JOB PURPOSE
* To manage all aspects of the construction of new homes in conjunction with the associated infrastructure including co-ordinating all utility companies.
* Ensure new homes are built to the highest possible standard in accordance with the build programme.
* Ensure all cost on site are controlled and profits maximised for new homes developments.
* Manage all aspects of health and safety on site.
* Work in conjunction with the sales team to ensure that the purchasers experience is as pleasant and enjoyable experience as possible, from the initial meeting, through the inspection process and including the resolving of any customer care issues.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential Skills & Experience:
* SMSTS
* 1st Aid
* Scaffold Inspection
* A good knowledge of the built environment with 2 years leading on site
* Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Desirable Skills & Interests:
* Construction/Building Management Qualification
* Temporary Works Coordinator
* Familiarity with NHBC standards
