Main duties of the job Strategic & Corporate Responsibilities Responsible, with other Directors, for leading the delivery of our vision & strategic aims, within a compassionate culture, free from discrimination. Contribute to the delivery of Trust-wide statutory & non-statutory responsibilities, for the delivery of short- & long-term objectives, for organisational development & for establishing strategies, policies & plans, to ensure future delivery of high quality healthcare. Contribute to the continued corporate development of DPT, coordinating key areas as directed by & agreed with the Chief Executive. Contribute to the achievement of all DPTs objectives, including the quality, financial, workforce & performance targets within DPTs overall corporate governance framework. Bring to attention of the Chief Executive & the Board of Directors any professional issues which might affect DPTs performance or reputational concern. Represent the Trust in terms of PR & other media requirements. Participate in executive management on-call rota.
