About Us
Our Human Resources Team support operational and departmental managers with all aspects of the end-to-end employee life cycle. This HR Business Partner role specifically supports with employee relations case management, people projects and change processes.
About You
You’ll help to shape, develop and deliver HR plans, projects and solutions for your region, and also be the case management point of contact providing sound & effective employment law advice, guidance and support to managers in all aspects of absence, performance, grievance & conduct management, along with other employee relations casework such as TUPE.
You’ll be able to demonstrate comprehensive practical knowledge and experience of employee relations cases, establish personal credibility quickly, build trust with colleagues at all levels, and align with TPS values of Respect, Compassion, Inclusion and Integrity.
Ideally, you will have a proven track record of employment law case work in a similar setting, or be in an HR Officer role and ready to take the next steps in your career.
You must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and with using HRIS. Confidence in partnering with others is also essential along with the ability to analyse complex information and recommend pragmatic and practical solutions.
The role is based at our Head Office in Govan Road Glasgow, with some travel required across services. We work on a hybrid basis with a requirement to be in the office in Govan Road a minimum of 2 days each week currently.
