As Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Retail Manager in achieving sales targets and creating an inviting shop environment. You will assist in maximising sales, managing stock, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a meaningful cause.
In this role, you will have sole responsibility for the running of the store, which will involve lone working. Due to this, unfortunately, we are unable to recruit anyone for this role who is under the age of 18.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Retail Manager in maximising sales and managing stock effectively
* Assist in maintaining high standards of display and layout in the shop
* Provide excellent customer service and deal with customers and donors on all levels
* Support the recruitment and management of volunteers
* Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and Marie Curie's shop policies
* Assist in the effective running of the shop in the absence of the Retail Manager
* Drive sales to improve store performance and support the Store Team to keep within budget
