Further details about the role
Brenzett Primary School is a thriving and ambitious school where, in the words of our recent Ofsted inspection, pupils are blossoming academically and emotionally.
We are looking to appoint a full-time outstanding practitioner to teach our Year 1/2 Class in the afternoons, releasing our Assistant Head and SENCO for management time. You will be working together to plan and deliver an exciting curriculum, with much of the resourcing and planning already in place.
This is an exciting teaching position which will allow experience working in both KS1 and KS2, as there will be opportunities to work with small Maths and English groups in the mornings as well as to provide cover for PPA and Subject Release time.
Our vision is for all of our children to flourish, both academically and personally, and we need somebody who has the passion, determination and skills to bring the very best out in our pupils. We strive to make every child feel safe, have the confidence and resilience to learn from their mistakes and to overcome difficulties with increasing independence.
As a school, we actively encourage professional development. Being part of a network of schools – connected through the Aquila Trust – we have lots of scope for our employees to learn, thrive and reach their full potential, including NPQ qualifications.
