The Capacity Planning Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and controlling stocks with efficient and effective controls in place with all Cold store operations for Pilgrims Europe. The Capacity Planning Supervisor will also be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of frozen movements / requirements between Pilgrims sites & Cold stores. Key Responsibilities\Measures of Success Responsible for identification, support and delivery of network optimisation projects across GB and the wider Pilgrims Europe logistics network. To work in collaboration with the Pilgrims Europe site Supply Chain teams and cold stores. To lead and develop a cold store management platform with all facilities used within GB & IOI. Development of an activity forecast from data supplied by Pilgrims sites and sharing with Coldstore providers Peak activity requirement forecasting Day to day accountability for efficient and effective use of Storage space, Blast freezing and tempering to meet the required service and cost performance targets. Responsible for reporting and communication between Pilgrims sites and frozen Warehouses regarding day-to-day operations. Support any day-to-day changes in volume requirements or urgent requests. Review and evaluate Coldstore performance and KPIs conducting investigations into any performance drop, communicating cause / effect and implementing ways of working improvement as appropriate. Accountability for developing and managing relationships with all cold store providers that effectively manages Pilgrims Europe stock. Working with Logistics Procurement on capacity agreements and facilitating performance reviews. Some travel may be required across the UK & IOI Any other duties as required to support the logistics team. Skills & Knowledge Experience in delivering continuous improvement and change initiatives. Change orientated, with a proven ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate within a team across multiple locations. Willing to travel and stay away from home as required. Excellent communication skills. Experienced in the use of IT systems especially Microsoft packages, including Excel & Word. Experience of developing procedures and policies. Experience in solving short notice requirements and proactive resolution of issues. Experienced in driving supply chain performance through KPIs.
