As the Head of Sales, you'll join a financially robust and agile company poised for explosive growth. This role is not just about driving new business in our six markets but also about unlocking additional growth within our existing customer base. You will play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic goals of "Retention & Growth" and "New Market Expansion." You will lead, develop, and hire a sales team that will transform our commercial trajectory and propel UK Connect to new heights of success. You'll oversee a talented team and forge partnerships that reshape our industry landscape. This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact our company's future, catapulting our revenue beyond £14 million by 2027 while nurturing a culture of excellence and innovation. About You: You should be an experienced head of sales who is willing to embrace the opportunity to build and lead the sales department. You will be the first to fill this exciting role within the organisation, allowing you to shape the department, team, and strategy and manage relationships with customers and vendors. You will have a record of commercial success in telecommunications, IoT, or a related high-tech industry. Expertise in navigating complex bids and tenders, particularly in the public and private FTSE 100 sector, is essential. A visionary approach and an unwavering focus on results and customer satisfaction are critical. Your role will be crucial in driving our strategic objectives, particularly in expanding our market presence and enhancing customer loyalty. Your Objective: Strategically expand UK Connect's footprint in current sectors (Construction, Defence) and new markets (Warehousing Logistics, Manufacturing, Utilities, and Mining). Champion customer-centric initiatives to ensure unparalleled satisfaction and loyalty. Spearhead new business ventures by identifying and capitalising on emerging market opportunities. Hire and develop a dynamic team, setting ambitious targets and driving performance. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align sales and marketing with UK Connect's strategic vision.
