Job summary JOB SUMMARY To liaise closely with the Named Nurse for Looked after Children, to ensure structures, processes and policies are in place to plan, manage and monitor the delivery of effective health care to all children who are looked after.To be responsible for a caseload of looked after children and young people,autonomously undertaking direct specialist clinical work including carrying out statutory health assessment reviews on Looked after Children.To work in partnership with the Named nurse and Named Dr for LAC to implement National Guidance and Local Policy for Looked after ChildrenTo work alongside colleagues to ensure Looked after Children receive timely, child and young person focused assessments and interventions in line with Statutory GuidanceTo deliver training to foster carers and other health and social care professional Main duties of the job To maintain a clinical caseload and assess health needs with a child centred holistic framework in line with the 'Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their families'.
