We are seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning and Execution: Assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives, ensuring smooth workflows.
Event Planning and Management:
* Organize and support promotional events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
* Collaborate with event planners and stakeholders to enhance visibility and ensure seamless event delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align marketing efforts with company objectives and maintain brand consistency.
Social Media Management: Create, edit, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
Content Creation: Write compelling content, including blogs, social media posts, newsletters, flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Market Research: Conduct research to identify opportunities, assess trends, and provide actionable insights for campaigns and strategies.
SEO and Website Management: Maintain and update the company website with SEO-friendly content and improve digital visibility through keyword research and optimisation.
Report Generation:
* Collect and analyse data from marketing activities, including campaign performance, event metrics, and digital analytics.
* Create clear and actionable reports using tools like Google Analytics, Excel, and HubSpot, presenting insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Database Management: Maintain and update marketing databases and contact lists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
HubSpot CRM Management:
* Manage HubSpot activities, including marketing automation, contact management, and lead tracking.
* Leverage HubSpot insights to optimise email campaigns, workflows, and overall marketing efforts.
Video and Podcast Production: To support marketing initiatives, including videos and podcasts, assist in producing and editing multimedia content.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Exposure to campaign management, event planning, and digital marketing principles.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced knowledge of Excel (charts, pivot tables).
* Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
* Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including preparing professional reports.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
