2G Energy Ltd are looking for Sales Managers 2G Energy Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of 2G Energy AG, an internationally leading manufacturer of combined and heat and power plants (CHP) for the decentralised provision of power and heat. The portfolio includes plants with an electrical output of 20 to 4,500 kW. Since it was founded in 1995, 2G has commissioned more than 9,000 plants worldwide. Location · The UK Office is based near Runcorn, Cheshire. · The role can potentially be based anywhere in the UK but must be willing to travel in line with business needs. Duties include · The ability to sell 2G’s extensive range of CHP engines (20kW to 4.5MW). · Technical and economic appraisal of CHP schemes from energy data analysis, site visits or technical briefs. · Develop viable solutions in cogeneration (LTHW), tri-generation (e.g. steam) and quad-generation (absorption chiller). · Managing sales enquiries, preparation and submission of tender responses and negotiating and concluding to order placement. · Interfacing with both UK & German 2G office based technical, projects and sales staff Desirable experience · Candidates with 2-3 years’ experience and above in CHP, or a directly related field will be considered, and the role can be tailored for the right client. · Candidates with both heat pump and CHP experience would be a distinct advantage. · Capability to liaise with high profile clients and consultants alike. · Extensive contacts within the energy industry would also be a distinct advantage. · Preferable previous experience of working with CHP OM dealerships. · Ability to understand technical specifications, technical briefs and drawings. · Experience in the tender process from site visits, client meetings and writing tender responses. Ideal Candidate · Must be a team player, so will be expected to fit in well with the 2G team. · Must also be highly self-motivated and be able to work independently. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent ability to network with customers, suppliers and industry specialists. · Valid UK driving license is required for the role to accommodate the travel needs.
