Finance Business Partner
Role Title: Business Partner
Department: Finance
NTS Salary Grade: Temporary 6 - 9 months
Security Level: BPSS
Role Purpose: Are you ready to make a significant impact in the finance world? As a Business Partner, you’ll ensure accurate and timely reporting of NTS revenue & costs, analyse key variances, and maintain financial control over inter-company recharges. Your insights will drive our financial strategy and help us achieve our goals.
Principal Accountabilities
Key Areas:
* Analyse NTS revenue & costs and explain variances
* Liaise with Functional Leaders, including Execs, to understand cost drivers
* Identify potential cost savings
* Produce reports to provide insight to budget owners
* Maintain accurate full-year phased forecast
* Oversee intercompany charges between INS and DRS
* Assign and allocate costs to business lines as appropriate
* Ensure consistency between HR and Finance in terms of organization and related People costs
Dimensions:
* Monitor and report on costs up to £100m
Internal and External Relationships:
* Build key stakeholder relationships with the Financial Controller, Head of Change Finance, CFO, Business Partners, Management Accountants, and Financial Accounting Manager.
* Collaborate with business leaders and exec members across all functions
* Engage with internal NDA Group stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed:
Qualifications:
* Recognized Accountancy professional qualification, and membership of professional bodies preferably but not limited to CIMA or ICAEW
Experience/Skills/Knowledge:
* Demonstrable experience in financial reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI, VENA, and SAGE x3 preferable
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Track record of continuous improvement of financial processes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Act with honesty and integrity
* Forward-thinking and action-oriented
