About This Role Reporting to the Financial Controller based in Bracknell, we are looking for an all-round Management Accountant to own the accounting processes and management accounts preparation for three Xe trading companies in North America. This is a varied role taking day to day responsibility for all financial matters associated with these entities supported by a Finance Assistant. You will also be a contributor to our FP&A team and work alongside the Senior Management Accountant EMEA in a finance team of circa 12-15 staff. We contribute to our community Roles & Responsibilities What You'll Do Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict Group deadlines taking responsibility for all transaction processing including accounts payable, cash book, payroll, revenue accounting and all standard journals. Head up the monthly P&L review process at cost centre level presenting to the Financial Controller and FP&A owner, providing input and insight for Group variance analysis and demonstrate sound knowledge of the numbers. Prepare all general ledger balance sheet reconciliations for review by Financial Controller on a timely basis, investigating and repairing reconciling items. Review of monthly operational multicurrency bank reconciliations reporting issues or unusual items to the Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant Prepare and report various monthly Group schedules to US parent company, developing good working relationship with Corporate head office. Daily monitoring of cash positions and general treasury duties. Develop, maintain, document and improve financial systems and processes. Intercompany invoicing and processing in accordance with group requirements and process. Assist the Financial Controller with financial statement and corporate tax return matters and internal audit matters. Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and ensure basic sales tax compliance. Develop strong working relationships with other members of the finance team, including in other jurisdictions. Direct day to day line management responsibility for the Finance Assistant and provide development opportunities. Regular monitoring of aged accounts receivable and interaction with the sales team to resolve delinquent accounts.
