A vacancy has arisen for the position of Operations Manager for waste, streets and grounds. This is in the western area of the authority, covering Goole and Market Weighton depots.
You will be required to manage the operational frontline delivery of Environmental Services which includes waste collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance with a staffing structure of 384 employees.
You must have experience in a senior management role and demonstrate planning and managing successful operational change in a large service area.
This is a responsible role which requires a hardworking, flexible individual with good organisation and customer service skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate with staff and ensure good morale across their team.
A current driving licence is required as you will be required to carry out site and depot visits.
