Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill. Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
